Salamanders And Newts

Salamanders and newts are amphibians. They look like lizards, But they don't have scales. Most salamanders start life as tiny larvae in water. They breathe through feathery gills and swim with flattened tails. As the larvae grow, they develop legs and climb out of the water. Some salamanders, however, lose there feathery gills as adults and live on land. All salamanders have to stay near water, to keep their slimy skins from drying out.

Life Cycle of a Salamander.

Noisy Giant
Most salamanders are silent. The Pacific giant salamander  is unusual- it makes a low-pitches sound if it is disturbed.

Did You Know?
The mudpuppy salamander breathes through  frilly,  red gills. People called it a mudpuppy because they thought it could bark-but it can't!

Water Newts
Newts are a type of salamander.
Most of them live in water.

Four Sisters

Four sisters

Once upon on a time there lived four sisters the first one was Sara, second one was Sam, third one was Katy, fourth one was Tania they lived in a small hut but the hut  was not safe because the hut was in a jungle.

When all of them were sleeping there came a snake in the hut and nobody knew that there was a snake in the hut. Sara woke up to drink water and when she was going she stepped on the snake and fell down on the floor and the snake bit her.

Sara went into a deep, deep and deep sleep and the three sisters couldn’t meet here again.

      My book review

Book title: Matilda
Author: Roald Dahl
Illustrator: Quentin Blake
Publisher: Puffin
Setting: United Kingdom

This story is about a girl named Matilda. Her foster parents degraded her. Matilda liked to read books and when she sat down to read them her father tore every book she wanted to read. In this story the main characters are Matilda, Michel, Miss. Honey, Mrs. Mr. Wormwood, and Miss. Trunchbull. My favorite characters are Matilda and Miss. Honey. Matilda is because she is very sensible. I like Miss. Honey is because she is very sweet to everybody.

Thank you
